Why do we do what we do? We love dogs. In fact, to say that we love dogs is an understatement. We are barking mad about dogs of all shapes and sizes. Their personalities. Our pets bring so much joy and happiness into our lives that we became mobile dog groomers to be able to spread that joy far and wide among the pooch population of the West Midlands! All of the treatments that are on offer have the added bonus of supporting the animals health and mood. Brushing through the coat all one helps to ventilate the hair and exposes the skin to air, which is important for physical welfare as well as general aesthetics. Additionally, with longer haired breeds and those with tightly curled coats, it is incredibly important, particularly during the summer months, to keep tangles and matting to a minimum in order to alleviate the risk of fly strike. In the event that you notice any sign of flystrike, you should immediately contact your vet and book an emergency appointment.

A session with a dog groomer is second only to taking your furry friends to the vets as the process really is an up close and personal inspection of the overall health of the animal. Regular grooming is hugely beneficial in that it enables owners to identify any underlying issues that on a daily basis go unseen. Not only does this ensure that you are as knowledgeable as possible about your pet’s state of physical health, it also enables you to take action much earlier should any serious conditions be identified.

While we strongly believe in the benefits of using a session as an early detection opportunity, it is important to remember that dog groomers are not vets, nor can they advise on any action other than suggesting you call your vet in order to organise a check-up by an animal health professional.
