The Docutain SDK comes in four packages:

• Document Scanner SDK
• Barcode Scanner SDK (for all typical 1d & 2d barcode formats)
• Optical Character Recognition (OCR) à prerequisite for Data Capture SDK
• Data Capture SDK / Data Extraction SDK

Typical use cases of our customers are the integration of the Scanner & Data Extraction SDK for capturing paper documents with the cell phone to forward the scan and the data recognized and extracted from it for further processing. Thus, data is read out in an automated manner and there is no need for manual intervention. The OCR functionality, which has been trained for years, can be used flexibly for all document types. This also means that one can expect a high recognition rate for different information such as invoices, payment information (IBAN, amount, address, purpose), wage tax certificated, ID cards, business cards or prescriptions.
